MEMBERSHIP BILL OF RIGHTS

All patients have dignity and value as human beings, have the following rights to lead a healthy life, and have responsibilities and obligations accordingly.


Patient rights

① Patients have the right to respect their personality based on their dignity and values as human beings.

② Patients are not discriminated against for any reason, such as nationality, gender, age, religion, economic and social status, or type of disease, and have the right to equal medical care.

③ The patient has the right to choose a designated doctor and medical institution for the best treatment.

④ Patients have the right to receive medical care from legally qualified medical personnel.

⑤ The patient and guardian have the right to request information and records regarding the patient's medical records.

⑥ Patients and caregivers have the right to hear an explanation of the patient's disease condition and the purpose, method, content, and consequences of the treatment behavior, and to choose the treatment method or refusal of treatment.

⑦ Patients and caregivers have the right to hear an explanation of their contents before signing documents related to medical practice.

⑧ Patients and guardians have the right to know the details of medical expenses incurred in medical practice.

⑨ The patient has the right not to be infringed upon all confidential information regarding illness, treatment, and privacy.

⑩ Patients and caregivers have the right to express their opinions and hear answers if they have complaints about other matters, including in-hospital medical services.

Patient responsibility

① The patient is responsible for providing medical care-related matters, such as current symptoms, past medical history, drug treatment, and other records, directly or through a legal representative.

② If there is anything you do not know about your treatment, you are responsible for checking it.

③ The patient is responsible for participating in the treatment plan recommended by the medical staff and cooperating with the treatment.

④ The patient is responsible for the consequences that occurred upon failure to comply with the treatment plan.

⑤ Patients have a responsibility to respect other patients and medical staff, and to value the assets of the hospital.

⑥ Patients are responsible for fulfilling their financial obligations related to treatment.

⑦ The patient is responsible for following the rules and regulations of the hospital.
